Biography
Dr. Mihaela Vlasea is a Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Sustainable Additive Manufacturing. Her research focuses on innovative design, process optimization and adoption of new materials for powder bed fusion and binder jetting additive manufacturing processes. She is the Co-Director of the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing (MSAM) Lab, Canada’s largest academic facility for metal additive manufacturing.
