Phil Koshy

Phil Koshy is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McMaster University. His research focuses on cutting, grinding, and electrical discharge machining processes, with an emphasis on science-based innovation to enhance productivity and process capability. In recognition of his innovative contributions, he has been awarded Fellowships by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany) and elected a Fellow of the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP), the world’s leading organization in production engineering research. He is also a recipient of the McMaster President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
