Biography
Dr. Clare specializes in non-traditional manufacturing methods to achieve net shape while enhancing material properties for high-value sectors (aerospace, tooling, biomedical engineering). He held the Rolls-Royce/Royal Academy of Engineering Research Chair (University of Nottingham, UK), fellowships at the University of Tokyo, AMRC/MTC, and a secondment to Rolls-Royce. He has published >185 papers (h-index 61, Google Scholar).
